MARGARET FISHER, ACMI

Margaret Fisher is a highly experienced employment and earnings consultant. She has over 24 years experience in management, recruitment, human resource development, health & safety, labour market analysis, earnings and occupational research and employment rehabilitation.

Margaret, a partner with Employment Advisory Specialists, has over 6 years experience in preparing employability and loss of earnings reports involving a wide range of occupations, including the Armed Forces, in personal injury and clinical negligence cases and for employment tribunals.

Margaret is also an experienced vocational assessor and rehabilitation consultant and is involved in the "Back to Work" vocational rehabilitation programme for people with disabilities or health problems. She is a Professional Member of the Vocational Rehabilitation Association and works closely with training providers, case managers and other professionals to provide a rehabilitation package, which is tailored to the requirements of each individual.

Margaret holds the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development Certificate in Personnel Practice. She is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, a Professional Member of the Vocational Rehabilitation Association, a Member of the United Kingdom Rehabilitation Council and an Associate Member of the Chartered Management Institute.

Margaret has been Academy of Experts trained in relation to the Model Form of the Expert’s report and the Role and Responsibilities of the Expert.

For 18 years she held a senior position in a Systems Design Specialist company in the high-tech industry sector, having responsibility for the development and management of the personnel and human resources function, including health & safety. Through this Margaret has also gained experience of the software development, information technology and electrical design engineering sectors.

Margaret also has experience of developing company employee handbooks and policies, including health & safety, and revising these as necessary in line with employment legislation.

In addition Margaret successfully led the quality team in developing, implementing and maintaining a quality management system to ISO9001 accreditation with TickIT.

WENDY CANTRILL B.Ed

Wendy Cantrill is a highly experienced employment and earnings consultant. She has over 23 years experience in careers assessment and guidance, recruitment, labour market analysis, earnings and occupational research and employment rehabilitation.

Wendy, a partner with Employment Advisory Specialists, has over 13 years experience in preparing loss of earnings and employability reports in a wide range of personal injury and clinical negligence cases and for employment tribunals.

Wendy has been Academy of Experts trained in relation to the Model Form of the Expert’s report and the Role and Responsibilities of the Experts.

She is also involved in the "Back to Work" vocational rehabilitation programme for people with disabilities or health problems. Wendy works closely with training providers case managers and other professionals to provide a rehabilitation package, which is tailored to the requirements of each individual.

For over 10 years Wendy held senior positions in Sheffield Careers Service (Connexions). She has worked in a wide range of settings including schools, further education institutions and in training centers of government funded training providers.

Through job studies and industry sector research Wendy has a broad range of occupational knowledge, including the Armed Forces. She has extensive experience in working with employers and training providers, assessing recruitment needs and offering advice and guidance on pay rates, qualifications, training and career progression.

She has experience of working with young people to enable them to make well informed and realistic choices about their education, training and employment options.

As a Training Officer for Sheffield Careers Service she was involved in designing and delivering training and development programs for professional and administrative staff.

Earlier in her career she worked in a personnel function in the Administration and Legal department of Sheffield City Council.

Wendy is a Bachelor of Education and has a Certificate in Counselling. She is a Professional member of the Vocational Rehabilitation Association, a member of the United Kingdom Rehabilitation Council and an Affiliate Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
