Employment, Earnings and Employment
Rehabilitation Reports
The provision of comprehensive, robust employment,
earnings and employment rehabilitation reports in personal injury and clinical negligence
cases.
Reports are prepared following detailed analysis of
the Claimants pre-injury and post injury employment, educational and training
history profile and relevant medical reports.
Professional opinion is supported by thorough
research and, where required, the capability and experience to provide oral evidence in
Court.
These reports typically include:
- Assessed without-injury employment prospects and
earnings;
- Assessed future after-injury employment prospects and
earnings;
- An assessment of what measures might assist a return
to work.
and careful consideration is given to:
- the availability and costs of re-training
- the likely duration of any job search
It is preferable to interview the Claimant, however
where this is not possible their profile can be obtained by questionnaire or through
undertaking a paper based review.
Reports are normally available within four weeks of
instruction. In urgent cases this timescale can be reduced.
Career Profiling Reports on Young Persons
We are experienced in cases where injury occurred at
birth, in very early life or prior to commencing work.
Work has been regularly undertaken in complex cases
including those involving brain injury, Cerebral Palsy, Erbs Palsy, sight loss and
limb loss.

Occupational Stress
We have been involved in a range of claims
concerning work-related stress. As well as assessing future employability of the
Claimants, we have been asked to assist in determining liability evidence. The employment
policies, procedures and practices of the Defendants are examined to determine how these
compare with recommended practice, and practice in organisations of a similar size or in a
similar sector.
The actual events are compared with what a
reasonable employer in similar circumstances should have known and done.
Factual Information Reports
In some cases a full expert witness service may not
be proportionate to the claim, or allowed by the Court. However, accurate factual
information on earnings and employment issues may be required.

provide a cost effective means of obtaining well researched information on a range of
employment and earnings issues.

Expert Adviser / Shadow Expert Service
We can provide help in quantifying a claim, and
provide assistance during the process of the claim. This can include:
- Early assessment of the employment and loss of
earnings related issues in a case;
- Early advice on the types of employment evidence
required and how it can be accessed;
- Review of case papers to identify employment issues
relevant to the claim;
